You ignorant piece of shite.

The House passed a budget months ago. The Senate cannot take it up because the fukcing DEMOCRATs filibuster the motion to bring it to the floor.

So has every White House Admin.

Shutdowns are a common bargaining tool in politics.

I don't care about the dreamers either but its still the republicans fault for trying to cram in tax reform and immigration reform before passing a budget.

When ted cruz pulled a 21 hour filibuster in 2013 to shut down the government. Whose fault was that?

As a conservative, I want it shut down and that the Dems get all the credit for shutting it down.

Was an excellent move in hindsight.

I can understand how political bias can twist your own rationale to believe what you're saying. But the optics just won't hold up in the public view. The last shutdown was expertly manipulated by the Dems to put the GOP entirely at fault. It was well played. This time, the optics are "fund the peoples govt" or "prioritize non-citizens over citizens." Your average American citizen won't examine it any deeper than that. You're fighting a losing battle on this one.

ETA: Oh, and adding CHIP into the House bill was Democrat level PR manipulation. It was also very well done.

A short-term budget was passed last month, clueless.

The Dems refused to agree to an annual budget so a continuing resolution was used to keep the government open.

The Republican controlled House of Rep has already passed the bill to keep the government running. The Dems in the Senate won't vote to let it happen.

This a ALL on the Democrats. 100%!

i don't like the Republican party, but i like the government being shut down, because the world keeps spinning.

just like i don't like Trump, but i like that he says mean stuff on twitter, everybody loses their shite, yet the world keeps spinning,

it just shows how much of a waste of time the government spend doing stupid stuff, and how the media gets enraged over nothing.

And CHIP is about to expire because Dems value illegal immigrants over healthcare for American children.

So the republicans chose to focus on taxes for the American citizens over rights of illegal immigrants. Bastards

nice try:

republicans focused on permanent tax cuts for the wealthy and major corporations instead of the operating budget for the coming year.

You do realize as with past Government shut Downs once Congress decides to pass a budget fund the Government. There will be a provision in the bill to pay the Government employees any back pay lost during the GOVERMENT SHUT DOWN.

My wife is a contractor who works in a Federal Government building. She had to use up all her accrued PTO and vacation time to cover her lost income for time lost during the shut down. While the Government employees recouped all their lost pay for the Government shut down when Congress adds the provision into the bill to make Government employees whole for time lost during the shut down.

If You actually believe this then you need help . You know for a fact that democrats have a CR in the senate to keep the government funded and its doesn’t have anything in it that democrats are against. Democrats are the ones mixing immigration into government funding.

Are you on the democrat payroll? Cause you are parroting their talking points like you are.

You are a fricking idiot if you think that was the the only reason for the tax cuts.

Also when you get more money back in your paycheck feel free to donate to a worth cause so you don't become of those scary people who keep to much of their money.
