They'll need to do a lot more replicas of buildings, a lot more boxes, or that hive will swarm in no time.
Also, there's no way that hive is producing that much honey this quickly. This is only April ... and that particular box was just placed a couple of days ago.
Now, Big Mike had the first boxes placed, African style, and populated in 2009 but from what I've read those hives constantly collapsed and/or swarmed and were a complete disaster. But the hives were cleaned up, disinfected and repopulated with NC bees last year under Trump.
I'm betting those frames were transferred into that box, whole and populated, for the photo op with Charles.
Trump has made the hives a priority and designated an official White House beekeeper.
Very cool.
