Musk's guy was headed to a full confirmation to head NASA. A Trump aide handed Trump a dossier on the guy showing he was a current and present democrat donor.
His nomination was pulled. Yes, Trump is open to democrats, but this guy seemed too far left in the present.

Why would giving $ to the other party be an issue? Trump did it. Musk stood in line hours to meet Obama. Voted for Biden in 2020 too. And Trump knew all of this. But things change.
There has to be more to it than that. Gor seems to be the lynch pin to the chaos. His vendetta against Musk is the cause of all this.

You may very well be correct. Like I said the other day. I trust no one anymore. Bannon IMO is off the deep, deep, end calling for Trump to deport Elon.
There is a fine line of trusting no one and political moves for 2028 primaries already. DeSantis' for one. Yet, I don't trust JD Vance, nor the main tech bro billionaire from Cally, Thiel. So it is willy nilly on who to trust.
Youngkin, Vance, DeSantis, would all do the same routine in DC with possible neocon tendencies added?... The President can't fire congress the people can, and they manipulate even that.
The facial recognition/AI future is never going away. There is no stopping the Patriot Act by any man or woman.

-Jail avowed communist Brennan, Comey and gang, and clean up the fricking DOJ NSD
-Expose the J6 setup, MI fednapping, J6 faux pipe bomber
-Expose Ruby Ridge
-Expose Waco
-Release the stupid JE crap.
-Release how the DC madam died by suicide files
-Release the sex harassment tax funded payoffs in DC
-Call out the DC critter that fudge packed in sodomy over the so called- honorable desk that J6thers were jailed for touching
Releasing the JE files seems to implicate a world wide govt shutdown.
But it is what people want.
The bull dozier cannot be allowed until clean-up on at least aisle one (FBI) happens.

Bannon is laser focused and for good reason. He's not the only one who has a real vendetta out for the DC sewer creatures. My guess is that he sees Elon as a distraction from the real (in his mind) purpose of Trump2024. It's payback.
Except I don't believe Trump views it that way. Even after the raid, the overt attempts at his life in Butler, PA... I really don't get why Trump hasn't lowered the hammer on some of these things. Maybe some stuff has happened, and he thinks it best to keep a lid on it, not draw too much attention, but damn.. he's leaving a ton of really big pieces on the table which need to be removed.

The guy did an hour long interview on the All In podcast the other day, he said that every person who has to get confirmed provides a list of every politician they have ever donated to when being vetted. Trump’s team would have known about any “Democrat donations” 6 months ago.
He was expected to get 70 votes in the Senate.
The reason he was yanked is because someone on Trump’s team hates Elon and wanted to take down the NASA guy as punishment. They made up some shite, convinced whoever that the guy should go, and that is that.
I would bet Trump had nothing to do with it, just signed off on it after it was presented to him by someone he trusts. Pretty unfortunate that even in MAGA 2.0 there are still snakes in the garden.
