your supervisor can probably answer the question.
So you don't know but are making assumptions to post on the board and argue about?
I'm just trying to imagine any other corporate downsizing going like this and it's comically clear how poorly this government reduction is being done....

Lol. This email is just to see how many "employees" do not respond. Its just an easy way to learn who is an actual employee working and who is just in the books receiving a paycheck.

Or find out who is on vacation/other hr leave reasons.

If this is actually just some 0.3D chess to find "fake" employees, this is even more idiotic than we thought.

Half of my department will not be in from today until Tuesday because of compressed schedules. They will not have access to to their emails. If they do not reply what happens to them? Can you say for 100% certainty you know what happens to them?

You don’t understand. The poster I am the dude is his own man. Answers to no one and is so valuable, he has DOD contractors offering him jobs making $20,000 American dollars more than he makes at this government job that he obviously doesn’t need, but won’t leave.
But he would leave. If he gets pushed too far. Like if his already too busy schedule has to accommodate a dumb email, then that’s a bridge too far.
He just won’t stand for it.
Now, he didn’t get the email, because he works in a different chain of command. But by golly if he did, he will raise cain over it. If he can find the time.

The tactics are pretty similar to what he did at Twitter and of course it's lost a lot of value with the RIF.

I don’t work in classified intelligence. Neither do you. So the idea that we need to solve some hypothetical employee quandary that some CIA agent may encounter is idiotic.

It's amazing how much like Democrats some of you have become over the last decade.
Democrats have never called out laziness or inefficiency.
Are you really taking up for someone who says they don’t have two minutes in an eight hour day to do what their boss’s boss’s boss tells them to do. The amount of people taking up for a group known for inefficiency and laziness is mind boggling.
Is this a minor annoyance for the hard working govt employees? Yes. Guess what. Most employees (public or private) deal with 50 minor annoyances in a work week. Stop being such a Nancy

You realize far more than cia agents deal in classified work right?

No I didn’t. Wow. That’s a game changer.
(Yes, I do. Doesn’t change the point)

It'd be pretty simple.
- Researched some shite.
- Wrote a report about some shite.
- Briefed senior leadership about some shite.
- Met with some other dudes about some shite.
- Planned to research some more shite.
Rinse and repeat. Just another list item for how idiotic this really is.

Well, way to miss the point entirely.

I'm calling useful idiots out for being useful idiots. It pretty much ends there for me. You won't listen anyway.

I'm still curious how many phantom employees will be uncovered.
By phantom do you mean deceased or just not working?

So if all you do is classified work you just don't respond?
Again. Read the email. You’ll spend an hour in here asking questions that could be answered in 30 seconds. Kind of like these fed employees whining for hours over an email that would take seconds.

At the end of the day we are talking about a Department of Government “Efficiency” asking us to email them our job description while cc’ing our supervisor who is telling us either “don’t reply” or “put xyz down” to justify our existence. Either fire us or don’t. But let’s not pretend this is a chance to “save your job”.

I don’t have any problem with this. If I need to, I can write a frick ton of bullet points on what I did last week. Feds: stand and be counted.

Idiot. I answer to my COC just as I did for 21 years of active duty. OPM/HR is not in my COC
In my field the civilian sector gets paid way more. I am also ready for promotion. Try harder.
I never said I did or didn’t receive the email. Again Idiot…
I said I will not respond because it’s stupid and OPM is not in my COC… DA
What company do you work for? What position is it? If it makes enough I’m coming for your job, be prepared to email me.
My god there is a huge difference these days in smart republicans and idiot republicans. You and Cyborg need to catch up.

It’s fascinating.
Avowed small government “conservatives” are siding with progressives in opposition to holding federal employees to the same standards as the private sector.
The lights are turning on and the mice are scurrying.
