Need thousands of miles of pipeline and many, many pump stations. The Mississippi is a world class river with plenty of water to give. As a country we'd be proud of the effort and results of such a project. This is an engineering challenge. We're up to it.

Don't forget the windmills we'd have to have to power the pumps.

We can send them some humidity and let them figure out what to do with it. How’s that? Deal?

Outlaw and fill in all backyard swimming pools in California.

Then we can discuss supplying water to California.

How much water? How are you going to pay for it? Any meaningful amount is going to take massive investments in energy to run the pump stations to lift the water thousands of feet in elevation and overcome line loss. It isn't economical.

I read an article - it would take like 15x the power produced by one nuclear power plant in GA.

Makes no sense.

No one is interested in how they created the problem, they just want to break something else. It is a child's mentality.

Tell to build desalination plants. If Israel and Saudi Arabia can use them to survive in the ME then the ppl in SoCal can use them to survive in SoCal.

Very reasonable, but it's California. The idea was rejected for environmental reasons - (EX:killing small marine life).
