We do you ascribe a perspective essay as the WP?
Dumb.

this bombastic scene is also a painful reminder of the film’s ideological agenda:
Progs are so pathetic.

It’s literally Shakespeares Hamlet with animals.

Also based on Joseph and Moses from the Bible. Uh oh, progs. Even more triggered?

You may have heard the rumor that The Lion Kingwas actually inspired by Hamlet; this rumor is true. It is confirmed in the 1994 special edition DVD release of the film, The Lion King: Platinum Edition. Creators have also stated that the story was partially inspired by the lives of biblical figures Joseph and Moses as well.

I didn't read all that gibberish but isn't Darwinism and survival of the fittest pretty much accepted by all liberals? Isn't that basically what this "fascism" is all about?

I mean... I guess he’s right. Scar was based off of Hitler and Stalin. What’s your point?

His point?

Im not reading it if he thinks that movie glorifies fascism. Yes, Scar is a fascist, but that’s never painted as a good thing. He’s the fricking villain and at large agreed upon to be Disney’s greatest. I got that impression with hyenas goose stepping. Only a fricking idiot would think this movie advocates for fascism.

You can probably search the twitters/instagram/facebooks and find enough to start a revolution.

He said Pride Rock is the Trump Tower of the African savanna.
TDS is real.
TDS is real.

So, Trump is Mufasa, Don Jr. is Simba, Pelosi is Scar and the hyenas are the Dems led by AOC, Omar and Talib?
I can actually see that.
I can actually see that.

“The Lion King” offers us a seductive worldview in which absolute power goes unquestioned, and where the weak and the vulnerable are fundamentally inferior. In other words: “The Lion King” offers us fascist ideology writ large, and there seems to be no way out for the forthcoming remake.
What pathetic drivel, lol Stalin, Mao, Tito etc. didn’t wield absolute power? The story doesn’t make any sense on its face, what is particularly “fascist” about it? I don’t think he even knows what the word means.

Circle of life means everyone has their place. Some are sick some are poor. It's a part of the whole picture. Not everyone gets to play king of the jungle
