A study of 1880 family structure in Philadelphia shows that 25% of Black households were headed by a woman. In New York City in 1925, it was 15%. In 1940, the illegitimacy rate for Black children was 19 percent.
Those numbers sound great by today’s standards, but they compare to basically 0% for Whites at the same time
For the third time, the Great Society DEFINITELY made matters worse. It did not CAUSE the problem.
FFS, the chart that you dismiss shows Black illegitimacy at 8x that of Whites BEFORE enactment of the program.
Remove your partisan goggles and LOOK at the data.

I think it's a much bigger issue than just the black community, hell the single motherhood rate for all races has sky-rocketed in the last few decades. We're literally incentivizing it with our child support laws, and we wonder why it keeps getting worse?

American blacks are entrenched in the most destructive “culture” or lifestyle in our country. I’m not sure if Africans are included in those percentages or not but blacks have to find a way to gain independence from the racist Democratic Party that keeps them on the plantation.

-strong family units (not just nuclear units, but also extended family, grandparents, etc.)
-respect and deference for elders and experience (with the caveat that they are willing to listen to new ideas)
-value placed on hard work, discipline, responsibility, self-accountability, and strength
What this looks like varies from culture to culture, but the results are the same (example: Germany and Japan)

The Black man is not at fault for the most part. The problem is Black women. The Black women for the most part are stupid, angry, fat, lazy, and generally disgusting. I can hardly blame Black men for not wanting to be around them except for some casual sex. My opinion is based on years of observation, personal interaction, and thousands of data points.
