dims don't follow the law. If caught the current DOJ would not prosecute them.

Nice try, fellas (ETA Hawley, Ossoff, et al). I'm sure our honest elected leaders are fully prepared to follow the law, if it even makes it into law without Senile Joe vetoing it.

I'd like to know Rand's reasoning, but I think its likely a freedom issue for him, not just wanting to get personally rich.

Probably over-broad and would not withstand court scrutiny.
Making INSIDER trading illegal for Congress should be a fricking slam dunk. If you know a bill is coming that will subsidize electric cars, you shouldn’t be able to let your husband invest massive amounts in Tesla overnight.

Who would oversee/enforce this? The STOCK Act would like to know.
quote:
The law prohibits the use of non-public information for private profit, including insider trading, by members of Congress and other government employees. It confirms changes to the Commodity Exchange Act, specifies reporting intervals for financial transactions.

Disappointed in Rand.
I'm all in on heavy government regulations restricting the freedoms of Congress.

No one (we don’t agree with) is above the law!

No it isn't.
It just means they have figured out how to circumvent this rule.
