The RUSSIA thing was initiated by Obama's FBI in July 2016. CROSSFIRE HURRICANE!

Period! Concerned about the blatant partisan nature the assistant acting director appointed a senile figure head SC in July, 2017. Who immediately hired a staff of extreme left democrat investigators. But they still couldn't make a case because there never was one.
Face it, the entire country was a bit concerned since a two term president had brought in the FBI (no one knew James Comey and the entire Obama administration was corrupt at the time).
Scary thing is we are considering electing the same rotten to the core gang again in Nov. After witnessing the last four years of the same bag of snakes lead by Pelosi, Schiff and crew in the house. With their "investigation!
