Just becasue they were not detained previously doesn't mean that they didn't have grounds for impeding LEO etc before that moment.

Often times units will wait for back up before detaining someone or engaging in an arrest.

Nope, you have failed to understand right off the bat. Just because the first Officer did nothing, doesn't mean that there was nothing to be done. He was using "discretion" and decided not to take action at that time, but there could have been any of many reasons why he made that decision.

It's just the fact that he had his knee on him for 10 minutes while three other officers were there with him. They could have loaded him into the paddy wagon way quicker than they did. But instead they just stayed there in some weird trance.

I wouldn't have died from his actions because I wouldn't have been high on Fentanyl. The real question is: Would the degenerate Floyd have died if they had just expedited the arrest? Maybe? Maybe not.

It was always a weird situation to me and it wasn't a pretty picture to defend..
