I’d rather see their secret crazy budget cut than Medicare if I’m being honest.

How much of the 825 Billion is revenue, and how much is printed?

At minimum it should be revenue based. We’re broke.

That's a small potatoes line meant to get you looking at small potatoes.

Whatever you think about the current msm please know that it does not pester the MiC.

The art of war is changing. Have hypersonic missiles made air craft carriers obsolete? Drones have changed the battlefield. Everything needs to be looked at.

Continually burning money up on weapons for conventional war is a travesty. Heck yeah it should be cut. Should have been cut. Any conventional weapons use would be for places like Iraq/Afghan that we shouldn’t be wasting our time on. A war with Russia or China would be nuclear.

Should be cut 5% every year until they can pass an audit

I could agree with this. They need to overhaul the acquisition processes. The amount of waste amongst the support units is crazy. The $300 toilet seats and $950 hammers have to stop.

Anyone calling for an no-questions asked increase is an idiot.

Sigh. You do know military retirement pay, dependent medical care and other non-military projects come from the DoD budget, right?

You could cut 35% and probably not cut anything important

Repurposed. Need to manufacture ammo to replace that spent in Ukraine. Need more submarines. They will be the wildcard in the South China Sea. Upgrade capabilities. Build more escorts for carrier groups. Get sixth gen fighter going. Hypersonics, rail guns etc and laser based missile defense. Make our firepower so bad arse no one wants to frick with us. Stay out of wars that do not directly involve us. If attacked flatten them but no intervention outside of direct threats.

Cut out DEI bullshite, re-bid systems over budget, track budgets better. Pass audits or clean house. Get rid of political officers and replace with warriors and strategists. Close bases in woke states that fight deportation of illegal aliens.

I would suspect the current budget is enough to kick arse and take names if corruption and waste are eliminated.

Yes. They haven't passed an audit in years. They can't or won't detail where all those billions of taxpayer dollars have gone. Most likely laundered back to Congress members pockets.

We are falling behind china at an increasing rate. If you cut it, there is no way we will be able to defend our interests. We need a complete overhaul of the pentagon and how our money is spent. We spend more than anybody and yet china is quickly outpacing us. People should hang

So they waste what we give them, but by your logic we should give more.

Do we really need trillion dollar aircraft carriers jousting with sheep herders in Yemen?

Let DOGE walk through there. They'll cut 50% of the redundant bullshite immediately. Then restructure it to be efficient. Let's go to work.

Yeah right, you mean DOGE run by the cat making several BILLION from USG contracts and $700 plus million off DoD Ukraine contracts?

Starlink set to hit $11.8 billion revenue in 2025, boosted by military contracts
