Considering I am 54 and a have been a Soldier for over thirty years while at the same time having never killed anyone, I think that is some pretty good restraint.
Just saying.
(Between you and me, I keep an eye on my AR 15 though - I don’t trust it in the least bit)

you'll be the same kid trying to look tough. Nobody's buying it, might as well stop trying to sell it.

Me neither, that's why I prefer a lever gun.
I just don't care for plastic. I even replace the followers.

Luke also killed his dog that morning. He and his friends were in a satanic cult they called Kroft if I remember correctly. I went to Pearl and was in the same grade as Luke.

Were you at the school that day?

No I was still in my car on the road that leads to the school. He did the shooting before first classes had started. He killed his ex-girlfriend and her friend then shot others.
I am glad the assistant principal had a pistol in his truck.

Myrick later on became an administartor at my high school. Such a stand up guy and was really genuine. A hero beyond words.

There is actually a story in the NYT about the assistant principal that I read today.
He is against arming teachers.

Justin Sledge is the one who guided Luke along into it. He was actually a pretty smart kid and later went to Millsaps.
First they practiced torturing his mom's poor dog to death. Reading his confession on that will make your blood explode, not boil.
It is said he stabbed his mother to death. That doesn't tell the whole story. He chased her through the entire house. There was blood all over the walls in multiple rooms.
Yes, I've read the file and police reports. Some things you can never forget.

I was late for school that day. I had to pick up two friends and drive them to school. It was crazy. I almost slammed into the car in front of me on Hwy. 80 because the police already had the roads blocked off. One of my other buddies was shot in the leg. Well, really he missed my friend and hit the tile floor a land bits of the tile were lodged into his leg.
He ran all the way to the band hall outside the school before he even noticed his leg was bleeding.
School was weird going back. After school resumed, our classes were basically therapy sessions where people just told the stories of where they were that day. I was told some vivid stories of them that were real close to Luke when he started shooting. His girl dumped him and he had been dabbling in satanic stuff. Dude was evil.

You see the media never talks about this one. It was stopped when an assistant principal retrieved a pistol from his truck and held the shooter at gunpoint until he was taken into custody. Yes, two died, but it could have been so many more.
Paging BamaATL to come argue that less guns equals less deaths. The left fails to include such stories like this one in their hunt for misinformation.
