Yes and with Russian control of the air, getting caught on the roads falling back could get real ugly, real fast. I think most forces east of the Dneiper are finished and supposedly those are their best forces.
The reality is organizing a sustainable defense for the Ukraine if the Dneiper can be flanked is a lost cause. And the Dneiper is flanked both north and south. Ukraine cannot win this war.

This could be nothing but it's certainly something to keep an eye on. Romanian MiG-21 went missing and now the search helicopter has gone silent.

US Embassy Moscow
The Russians are projecting a Time cover from the Kosovo War onto the embassy. The cover shows a bomb blast and the headline says “Bring The Serbs to Heel”.
I don’t think whataboutism is interesting, but this does point to the stupidity of our policy in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
The Russians weren’t powerless, and they did react.

Probably one of the reasons for canceling & censoring the shite out of Russia is to keep them from shining a mirror back at us for all to see.

That's interesting. That bridge appears to be directly west of Kyiv. I get wanting to cut off Russia, but they may be hindering ally shipments of equipment/aid as well.

Ukraine was never gonna win. Their best play always and still is to draw the world into the conflict. They can't beat Russia, they can only make it difficult for them to be there.
If a no fly zone gets created they're in better shape but without air support and under seige in a city.....it's a bad deal.

So earlier today they reported 2k now saying 5800 and Ukraine was claiming upwards of 7k while Russia says 500 & I don't trust a single one of them to tell the truth.
