A modern version of the Katyusha rockets from WWII basically. It was said that the screaming sound they made as thousands were launched at a time during WWII was the most terrifying sound an infantryman could hear, but they were very inaccurate. They worked by quantity over quality and rockets would come raining down all over the place, often on civilian targets.

Sounds like Putin wants to scare Ukraine into giving up their weapons more than anything.
Ukraine not surrendering is going to be uncomfortable.

If I ain't mistaken Putin told Ukraine to disarm and all they did was line up to give out arms and get arms.
Ukrainians are dug in.

Yep. They volunteered. And if Ukraine is telling 18-60 year old males they can’t leave and will be given a weapon, Putin is going to look even worse, bc that’s a lot of bloodshed.
So he’ll try to pressure Zelensky to reverse course now. Putin wants this over with before has to maintain an army patrolling the streets.
