Imagine if the US had been fighting a war with Canada for portions of British Columbia for 8 years - even if they start off with a positive view of us, it doesn't stay that way.

I don't know WTF you're talking about,this is recent.Ukraine is a fractured nation. It has a huge amount of Russians who support Russia there.
To many Europeans who are better verse in geography, Ukrainians and Russians are the same thing. Ukraine has a distinct identity, but it's entwined with Russian identity for centuries. They are essentially same eastern European tribes.

What I’ve gathered reading from both sides for the past few days:
- Russia didn’t think it was worth trying to take Kyiv with massive losses. At least not yet.
- They’re strategy has shifted to encircling the Eastern Army in the southeast from two separate fronts. This will be the new major battle for the next month.
- Mariupol should completely fall within the next week. This will free up a lot of their manpower and artillery to help with the Southeastern front.
- Russia didn’t think it was worth trying to take Kyiv with massive losses. At least not yet.
- They’re strategy has shifted to encircling the Eastern Army in the southeast from two separate fronts. This will be the new major battle for the next month.
- Mariupol should completely fall within the next week. This will free up a lot of their manpower and artillery to help with the Southeastern front.

Seems like Putin knows precisely the strategy and scheme of “our” side, and we know amazingly nothing of his/theirs. Do we seriously have zero inside scoop on them? Do we not have housefly surveillance drones that can slip in the door at his HQ and eavesdrop on their game planing? I thought we were America.

It was my mistake, I assumed truck was going through Donbas area.
I saw a video of Ukranian soldier bullying Ukrainian granny with Soviet flag. That was in Ukraine, though. Also posted by Intel Slava Z.
He does post a lot of unverified footage, but then again he averages 30 posts/daily. I hate loading my phone with apps, but got Telegram just so I can see what's happening from the other side. CombatFootage on Reddit basically reposts some of the things he posts, but only a fraction of the Russian/DPR videos.
