Death Penalty for killing an agent of the united state of America.

Here’s what we do know: Investigators had been watching the people involved and they have been described as being in higher-level crime.
They were reported by a hotel clerk last week when they checked in wearing tactical gear and weapons.

It's odd to me that the 2 Border Patrol agents, one with 9 years military experience got ambushed. They should have known they were armed if the feds were looking into them
It is possible the FBI did not initiate the stop. They had been surveiling them a few days, may not have escalated to an interagency takedown.
BP may have pulled them for a flagged plate as someone above mentioned, maybe something else. Or maybe FBI did order BP to make the stop and just failed to communicate the full picture.
That is what happened a few years ago in NM, Homeland had been watching a drug runner, ordered State Police to stop him on the interstate, didn't tell him the guy was armed, ended up gunned down on the highway.

Would this be the news that shocked you at this point?
Wouldn't shock me.
Like I've been posting for some time now, this is what populism does. Requires an unreasonable level of discontent that is fed by a steady stream of conspiracy theories and doomsday predictions.
Don't act like there weren't posters here posting for YEARS that Biden was allowing in all those illegals to arm them against American citizens and put us in concentration camps, which is no less (or more) dumb or ridiculous or bizarre than trannies believing that they are going to be rounded up and put in one.
I don't know whether it was Huckster Carlson or Alex Jones or some random out there who started that one, but as I pointed out at the time, that dates all the way back to Obama's first term. My mother used to send me that conspiracy theory via email back then. Claimed that he was amassing illegals in secret training camps around the country. I guess they'd all be between 45 and 50 at this point...but should be very well trained if they've been running drills all that time.
The point being, do we at this point have a country full of people willing to believe the dumbest stuff imaginable?
Hell yeah we do.
But they aren't just on one side of the political aisle, and they are mirror images of the same cancer. Populism.
It's eventually going to be the death of us.

Looks like a member of the tribe, not a true German.

Border Patrol didn't know they were armed. This info was not shared with them.

Are there retards willing to believe anything on both sides of the aisle? Yes, but that doesn't mean it's the same on both sides. The retarded faction of the American Left dwarfs the retarded faction of the American Right in number, volume and willingness to inflict damage.

Two guns, as well as ammunition magazines, were recovered from the Prius. Youngblut also had a Washington state driver's license. Investigators found cell phones wrapped in aluminum foil and multiple laptops at the scene after it was searched.
A later search by the FBI found tactical gear, including a ballistic helmet, a night vision monocular, a tactical belt and hollow point ammunition inside the Prius, in addition to a package of shooting range targets and two handheld two-way radios. A journal belonging to Youngblut was included in the items seized.
Sounds like they were up to something.

Investigators said federal law enforcement agents had been observing the pair since at least Jan. 14. Police were initially notified of the pair's whereabouts when an employee at a hotel in Lyndonville contacted law enforcement when she noticed them dressed in what appeared to be tactical-style clothing, with Youngblut carrying a gun in an exposed holster.
Police reached out to the pair, who claimed they were in the area to purchase real estate.
Investigators later observed Youngblut and Baukholt wearing the same tactical dress on Jan. 19 in downtown Newport, with Youngblut again seen carrying a firearm.

Is this illegal or something?
Posted on 1/24/25 at 3:44 pm to BuckyCheese
No, but if harboring a fugitive it should be something of concern.

Yes. This info was from a different agency. BP didn't know.
