by having this little bizarre press conference that just wreaked of insecurity?

Trump and Spicer were just laying little cheese bait for the mice.
They gobbled it up, patted themselves on the back all weekend, then were made to look like fools.

but but but....what about in person? Are you saying in person?
Odd that he was so upset about the plastic cover on the grass then. Not sure how that would affect online or TV viewers.

Who was the dumb bitty that whined about Latin America not being mentioned in the US President's inauguration address? Geez. I don't think Australia was mentioned either. Do they have whiny reporters that need to be aggrieved all the time too?

You don't support this POTUS at all, so why does it matter to you?

Microsoft launched its Smooth Streaming technology in 2008, the same year Netflix developed its own technology to power its pioneering Watch Instantly streaming service. Apple followed suit in 2009 with HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) designed for delivery to iOS devices, and Adobe joined the party in 2010 with HTTP Dynamic Streaming (HDS). HTTP-based adaptive streaming quickly became the weapon of choice for high-profile live streaming events (Vancouver and London Olympics, Wimbledon)

Sure.

Now you can stop saying he lied. 47M people, at minimum, watched both in person or via media

You should ask Al Gore...he invented the internet! Yeah, that's the ticket!

And Spicer had a good time doing it.

I loved when Spicer said he was going to say as long as it took to answer all of their questions then presided to answer each one of their questions like he was swatting flies with a sledgehammer.

Can someone tell me how long the press conference lasted because I was watching it on ABC TV and Georgey boy had to break in and say they were ending coverage because it was soooo long they couldn't cover it any longer?

and Hillary beat trump in the popular vote by a similar amount...the popular vote doesn't decide the president

I know that, and I wasn't implying that you didn't. Simply was pointing out that this talking point goes both ways, that if we are going to hang everything on the popular vote we should point out that GWB beat Kerry by more votes than Clinton's margin over Trump. So, despite Kerry's advantages in NY and California, Bush had 3mm+ more votes.

bush didn't have the same heat on him from the press and opposition party and as an additional roadblock, trump had his own party sabotaging him at every turn.

And, social media in 2004 wasn't on the same planet as what candidates deal with in 2016. It's not even close. And what's ironic is that in this age of over-informed people, "squeaky-clean" will become less trusted than those people with everyday, normal screwups.
