Several have mentioned the public. Is there even anyone there beside team members, security and the press?
Maybe a few hundred/thousand track staff who would not have any access to the pits due to da Covoid?

I was thinking something more like this.

They are pandering so hard now it's laughable.
I read a story once that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas felt like his law degree was worthless when he graduated. Why? Because people assumed he was pushed through school as a "token black guy", so he put a 5 cent sticker on his diploma as a reminder.
I've been waiting for women and minorities to wake up and realize how this special treatment shite WILL backfire, "oh crap, they all assume I got here because of special treatment, not because I'm actually qualified! They don't actually respect me!" It's a false assumption in many cases, but I'm now more skeptical when I see a woman or minority in a high ranking position...did they get there on merit or to fill some diversity quota?
Danica Patrick was a garbage driver, but we all know why she got a ride.

Stalls at most tracks are open and there is enough pedestrian traffic someone could have slipped a noose out of their pocket and laid it down. Teams are around all the time, but they are busy with their own crap. Its not like they are looking around eyeing what people are doing.
I spent a season with an IRL team, fully credentialed going to every race for the week. I was in and out of the garages and pit during practice, qualifying, and race day. There is a limit to access but not so limited that someone couldn't have done this.
oh cool you did all this since all the new security measures have been put in place for covid? yeah cool....i bet not....are you really that retarded to not think of that and realize these races are much different then they were in the past?
I mean jesus, i am dumbfounded that you posted this which has zero relevance ZERO, NADA, NONE!!!! STFU AND THINK BEFORE YOU TYP
Damnnnnnnnnnnnnn HoneyBadger don't give a shitttttttttt

They are based out of Charlotte, but the drivers and their crews are from all over. The South is no longer dominant in nascar.

I don't believe fans are allowed in the garage area at Nascar races. They weren't at the few I've gone to.
Add in the Kung Flu they are so deathly scared of I can almost guarantee only essential people were allowed in the garages.

I've been in the pits and garages for Indycar, IMSA, and Nascar events and almost all the teams have have a few non white people working for them. A good bit of pit crew members are former black football players from around North Carolina too.
The media is treating Bubba like he's the only black man at the track and that's just not the case (driver yes, but team member no)

Very true. The well monied teams have recruited former athletes to work pit crews for years now.
NASCAR was trying their asses off to find black talent since the 80's with Willy Ribbs. The problem with racing is that it's a rich kids' game.

I've been on a nuclear sub, it don't make me an expert at the security measures for an aircraft carrier.

She wasn't a half bad Indy car driver, Nascar she sucked.

Because they are on the same tracks many times with the same security protocols. I still go to races across the board and am in the pits at everyone I go to. It is not just IRL.
I get passes directly from the Smith family when I go. I have known them since the mid 1990s when I put on the first open wheeled racing event at CMS in something like 50 years.
So no, I am not an expert on all of the security processes in the garages, but I have and do walk though them and can understand how it is possible that some dumb arse left a noose there. The only way it is not possible is if it was a "life size" rope and noose only because hiding it would be a problem.

Well wrong is wrong and if he did do this himself, he should be held accountable.

Flipped the TV to the race. As I expected, a guy who hasn’t finished in the top 10 of any race is running borderline top 5. (Hovered between 5 and 6 running in the draft) They are setting this up for him to win. It’s too predictable, much like little E won the first race back at Daytona after Dale died.

Her and Bubba are on the same level. He’s won some truck races, but he’s never won any xfinity or cup races. Dude’s basically getting paid just to keep the car clean and finish races.

Yep. He almost got to the lead while running the outside lane.
He's got the big plate today.

NASCAR has been over for me since all the rules changes. This just makes it easier to walk away and get rid of my team shirts.
