LBGT better starting worrying about Sharia law burning them alive in cages, throwing them off of 10 story buildings and burying their body leaving their head above ground for death by stoning.
They going to have bigger issues than Chick-Fil-A sooner than we can imagine at his rate of illegal aliens in this country

Do you have a link to that? I'd like to see the specifics

"In the past". Are they still doing so? If not, why the continued backlash?

They are the bomb.

People rave about the sammiches, but the breakfast options are just as awesome. I call them Crack-fil-a biscuits because I swear that’s what they coat them in.

You said people have protested against them for their beliefs not for what they have done. They have donated to groups that are anti gay rights. That is all I am saying.

When they donated money in pro traditional marriage elections, gays did not technically have the right to marry at that time. That's what the elections were about.

Do you have a link supporting your claim that Chick Fil A donated to groups advocating for gay conversion therapy? I'd like to see the specifics on that.

Does he still donate money to groups that support it?

Idk it’s one of those things Chick Fil A is good enough they would literally have to hang swastikas in the window for me to stop eating there.

This is ultimately how the free market should deal with social issues.

If you’re gonna make a stand you better be putting out a good product.

I am not comparing the two like that and you know it. Just that when there's a perceived, I'll say it again for you reading impaired, perceived injustice, people fight back. I am not comparing chicken to abortion. Jesus christ, what a terrible rebuttal.

Exactly what is the perceived injustice? A man's opinion that marriage is defined by the Bible as between a man and a woman?

Ironically, he is stating a fact, not an opinion. They actively went about changing the definition of a word. That is in no way a legitimate perceived injustice.

It's the same bullshite as zionists hijacking the term antisemitism and changing its meaning to only mean Jews when the people of that entire region are semites.

They have donated to groups that share similar values and provide value to the public through charitable giving and works. Where this has overlapped with overt "politicization" they have stated that they will no longer give to such organizations and it seems like they've made good on that.

At this time, they are continuing to receive backlash for merely holding an anti-homosexual marriage view while not discriminating against homosexual employees or customers and by not contributing to organizations that have a political nature in that fight. So, like I was saying, they are getting lambasted for what they believe, not what they are doing.

Give me a link to the donation, not the group. When did they donate?

And fwiw, not even Exodus International still believes in the efficacy of gay conversion therapy. At one time, however, lots of people did. They were naive, not evil. As recently as two years ago I had a couple contact me about their son, who had come out as gay. This is a well educated couple (MS for the guy and BA for the wife), and super nice people. They wanted to know if I did gay conversion therapy. I told them no, and discrouaged them from pursuing that avenue. I convinced them it would do more harm that good, and they gave up on the idea. It was that simple. Doctors used to use leeches to treat fevers. It doesn't make them evil.

ETA: I found the info I was seeking. Chick Fil A made a one-time $1,000 donation to Exodus International in 2010. Believe me, 9 years ago Gay Conversion Therapy was very popular in some circles. Fortunately, it no longer is.

Yes, because a man saying he believes marriage is between a man and a woman is totally the same as chopping up fetuses piece by piece.

Just recently, Chick-fil-A locations were blocked from opening at airports in Buffalo and San Antonio.

You’d think San Antonio would be a highly Catholic city. It just goes to show how disconnected this topic is to reality.

It’s not really about gay marriage, or even about gay rights or support for gays, it’s simply a proxy fight against Christianity, and beyond that, objective truth.

This is an ideological battle being waged by neo-Marxist post-modernist relativists.

I did not say it does.

Just like plenty of people still think being gay is a choice. People believing that does not make them evil either. Ignorant yes, but not evil.

It's almost as if when people perceive something as unjust, they try to rectify in their way. Be it abortion or gay rights.

What does Chick-fil-A need to do to "rectify" what "injustice"?

Eventually, they're going to win. They represent entropy, while Chick-Fil-A has to put forth effort to stay in business, this group isn't trying to build anything. They're only trying to tear down. They have time on their side.

Nah. For every grandstanding event, there are 20 new stores opening. In the end, their business model is what makes them successful and as long as that stays the same, there are no amount of temper tantrums that will hurt them in any significant way
