Trump is giving the Dems another chance to hang themselves.
If they don’t negotiate in 3 weeks, which they probably won’t, he will declare a national emergency & use the military to build the wall.
In the meantime workers get paid & Trump gets to deliver a knockout SOTU speech.

Trump told the democrats that he could build the wall by declaring a national emergency but he didn't want to do it that way, he wanted a negotiated agreement. Nancy and Chuckie refused to negotiate, then they said they would if the government re-opened. Trump, smartly, ended the shutdown to negotiate. We all know Bride of Chuckie lied, they have no intention of negotiating in good faith. What did they win yesterday? Some short-lived gloating? Big deal. In three weeks, the wall gets built by national security executive order, just like he told them weeks ago. Dems are dumb.
