The left cant fathom anything outside of binary thought. Most of us can see that there are no good guys in this fight, and we can also see how dangerously obvious it is that we will eventually get sucked into it.

That's going to be it. Just tried it on my Droid and I see the same you do. If you google "Ukraine live map" you'll see the link to the "Map of Crisis in Ukraine". Click on that and it will show you the map.
In the desktop/laptop version the map pulls up and the news feed is on the right side of the screen.

That is some BS right there. There is a giddiness that is clear as day when Russia positive news is put out. Anything positive on the Ukrainian front is crapped on and anything on the Russia front is accepted. I keep being accused of being a main stream media and it couldn't be further from the truth. I've listened to countless hours of audio of ex-military guys going over OSINT information and working hard to confirm the truth of what is happening on the ground. I know it's not perfect either but it's a hell of a lot better than CNN and Fox news.

I am pretty sure that was according to plan. This was to be done quickly and in that regard it has failed. Did I get this from main stream media? No. I have eyes to see that they had not put in place a plan for long term logistical support.

That's true. US armed peasants before against Russians in the Afghanistan. Now they're doing it in Ukraine, but Ukraine has no mountains and I don't think Russia wants to hold Ukraine, they just want to destroy all their military/infrastructure and probably take away their access to black sea.

Ok. Assess how this all went down. When you look at the logistical support that was prepared by the Russians can you honestly say they were planning for this to take weeks and not days. Seriously, all bullshite aside, what do you see?

I see them taking tens of thousands of square miles of land already in two weeks.

Projecting and sustaining a force halfway around the world is a little more complex than invading a country you share 1200 miles of border with.

Besides being able to debate just how secure those areas are, that wasn't really question. According to what we have seen, have the Russians achieved their initial objective? If you say yes then you are a hack. Short term victory goes to Ukraine in that regard. Medium Range will be victory to Russia because they have enough men and hardware to throw at them until its done. Long range will be victory to Ukraine. No way in hell Russia is able rule these people now.

How many substantial cities do they control after two weeks? One? I believe Kherson is it. Will they get others, sure. But your idea of taking land and my idea of taking land are very different.
