He really is in the worst position possible, he has no choice but to stay and ride it out to the very end at this point. It was honorable and courageous, but Ukraine never even remotely had a chance at holding off the Russians.

Well I thought Russia was going to steamroll Ukraine.

The fact there is still organized resistance is impressive.

The Russian military is second rate and the west have given Ukraine a lot of high tech weapons.

The Russian MOD thanks you for broadcasting their news releases so religiously. Very little little progress was made in the last week, except for some gains around Kyiv.

Western border is most difficult and will probably be the last territory taken, if taken at all.

I can see a scenario where Russia takes control of just over half the country.

3 weeks and major cities are captured with inroads to surrounding the capital is impressive? Did you think they would teleport to Kyiv?

I estimated 2 weeks for Kiev.

I am definitely impressed with their fight.

Im not sure if russia has changed their initial strategy or if they are just on a slower version of plan A

you got to feel bad for Zelensky. The guy is holding his ground because he truly believes deep down inside that "NATO", meaning the United States will come to his rescue.

Afghanistan should have been a good indication.
