re: The "Jews are God's Chosen People" is an old testament thing, right?

Where does that leave the Christians?

Romans 11. Paul explains that God has not rejected his people, but their rejection was meant to be so that the Gentiles could also come into relationship with God. The Jews are still Gods people, he hasn't forgotten them.
quote:
I ask then, has God rejected and deserted his people the Jews? Oh no, not at all. Remember that I myself am a Jew, a descendant of Abraham and a member of Benjamin’s family.
2-3 No, God has not discarded his own people whom he chose from the very beginning. Do you remember what the Scriptures say about this? Elijah the prophet was complaining to God about the Jews, telling God how they had killed the prophets and torn down God’s altars; Elijah claimed that he was the only one left in all the land who still loved God, and now they were trying to kill him too.
4 And do you remember how God replied? God said, “No, you are not the only one left. I have seven thousand others besides you who still love me and have not bowed down to idols!”[a]
quote:
11 Does this mean that God has rejected his Jewish people forever? Of course not! His purpose was to make his salvation available to the Gentiles, and then the Jews would be jealous and begin to want God’s salvation for themselves. 12 Now if the whole world became rich as a result of God’s offer of salvation, when the Jews stumbled over it and turned it down, think how much greater a blessing the world will share in later on when the Jews, too, come to Christ.

I don't mind helping Israel defend itself from terrorists attacks however stop using the religious justification that the modern day Jews are God's chosen people. That was the Jews of the Old Testament.
This is correct. But, most Baptists and Evangelicals have their bible interpreted for them by Scofield, who was hired to create Zionists out of American Christians.
The stuff most of those churches believe is pretty wild, and not scriptural at all.
Dispensationalism is a twisted view of scripture.

Bruh, Jesus says it right here. He went even further when he called out those who claim they are Jews but are not, but rather the Synagogue of Satan.
The Christian Church is Israel after the time of Christ.
It doesn't get any clearer than that. All Christians believed this until Darby and Scofield, about 100 years ago.
quote:
Romans 9:6-8
6 It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. 7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”[a] 8 In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.
The Christian Church is Israel after the time of Christ.

Yep
“There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28

Galatians...
KJV
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
ESV
29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.
NLT
29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

Correct. The church is the new Israel.
Incorrect. The Church is the Bride of Christ. Jews are still God’s chosen people. He will deal with them during the tribulation period. All prophecies past the rapture of The Church is about Jews. That is the purpose of the tribulation is the salvation of the Jewish nation. They will cry out to Jesus for saving. Jesus will return at the 2nd coming to Bozrah (Petra) defeat the surrounding armies and antichrist then go to the Mount of Olives and Megiddo and defeat the hordes of savage armies.
So no replacement theology is incorrect.

Are Christians grafted into the tree? Yes but they didn’t replace the tree

There's not one doctrine that all Christians believed ever since the day of Pentecost.
Yes. The true Jews are the Jews who accept Christ and by proxy, God.
But there is still a remnant of physical Jews or God is a liar many times over. Revelation shows them getting sealed and serving with Christ. Zechariah talks about their redemption and sanctification. God will restore Israel, although most will not survive the purging first.

But the tree is Christ, not the Jews.

A) We're living through the tribulation period (the Christian age) right now.
B) The only rapture will be when Christ returns in the clouds.
quote:
15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord,[d] that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 1 Thess. 4)
WMR is correct.
