The inherent issue isn't Buzzfeed's boldfaced, fake journalism of Trump obstruction

It's the fact the mainstream media PLASTERED this story over the airwaves for hours, nearly a full day, and only once the story started falling apart did they question the source.
THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED.
ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, et al, beleive that they can push this obvious fake news because another outlet reported it. The story had NOTHING of substance to back up the claim, yet was run as the gospel truth. THIS IS WHY THEY ARE LABELED FAKE NEWS. They run stories that aren't substantiated.
Americans have every right to distrust the media, and all of our politicians. They havent earned our trust.
To belittle those with a brain that distrust the source of any story is wrong and disgusting.

Media consumers aren’t as savvy as we’d like them to be, and just because something is technically accurate and qualified doesn’t make it good. People skip right over those caveats, and if they want to believe these reports, they treat them like gospel.

I wonder how often the source behind stories like this Buzzfeed's exclusive is actually a CNN reporter who wanted Buzzfeed to break the phony story? That way they can all pile on and still maintain some semblance of credibility, since it was another outlet that broke it.
