The Impeachers are a near extinct species

8 of the 10 will not be on the Ballot in November.

Valadao will probably lose against his Democrat challenger because the California Legislature gerrymandered his district. Newhouse is probably the lone survivor of the Impeachers.
ETA: the biggest shocker to the GOPe was the loss by Tom Price. That sent shot over the bow to the GOPe in SC.

It's also not shocking that Republicans in CA and WA aren't the most MAGA of Republicans

The two that are left are the type of Republicans that you have to live with if you want those seats. MTG types would lose by 40% in CA-21.

But we should demand total ideological fealty, even if it means losing winnable elections and not holding a majority!!!

Oh I agree.
But they don't even try to go MAGA.
IMO if they tried selling a secure border under the basis of higher wages (like Democrats used to do), stop endless wars and protect U.S. manufacturing with reasonable trade protections they would win IMO. But they don't even try. They automatically cuddle up to the bosom of the GOPe for money.

That's a House graphic.

Murkowski is in the senate. The senate does not impeach. Only the house impeaches. These are the impeachers.

Seems like that's what "we" were sort of hoping to achieve and mostly did so in all but two seats, so that "we" have to understand that's what "we" have now.
You know, like the system's supposed to work.
Your point here being?

The problem in the WA primary was too many non-Newhouse candidates. There were 3 viable candidates not named Newsome and the top 2 had more combined votes than Newsome. Had any of them not ran Newsome likely wouldn’t have won the Primary. But you’re not totally wrong, the impeachment vote alone wasn’t enough to oust him, but clearly a large number of republicans in his district did not want him to be re-elected.

That electing bad candidates in primaries just to piss off the mainstream GOP will result in less election success, smaller gains, and smaller majorities.

Devin Nunes ring a bell? He was my rep. We’re plenty conservative out here no matter how much you guys try this stuff. I wouldn’t question Texas’s conservatism but hey Dan Crenshaw is all yours. The same can be said of any state with their rinos.
There are also more of us out here than most of the South combined.

Lose…. Maybe. 40% no. Just no.

MTG running in that district would struggle to get 30% of the vote. Yes absolutely. The district voted for Biden by 11 points.

Who's doing that?

At the very least GOP voters in Pennsylvania's Senate race and Meijer's seat in Michigan. Time will tell on a few others.

They seriously thought the GOP voter base would abandon Trump after the January 6th protest. Nikki Haley was right there with the South Carolina crowd.
Little did they know.
