Yes he has.

Back in the days of Reagan it was about pragmatism, doing what's best for America even if it required "caving" (G*d do I hate this word)!

With Trump, it's Trump, Trump, Trump-- cultish worship of a seriously flawed man. Really scary and weird

He's just devolved so much more even recently. It's sad to see.

“He” didn’t destroy the country. The increased division and impossibility of discourse was well underway, and began its exponential course during “if I had a son’s” reign.

Then, you may recall that “her turn” and the deep state set out to destroy Trump with a series of hoaxes, promulgated by legacy and social media, that have all been thoroughly debunked. And yet our current Resident and his staff and complicit media continue repeating them.

But yeah, Trump did that. That’s like saying trees caused a forest fire.

I always heard it as there are 10 kinds of people

Those that understand binary and those that don’t

He normalized personal animous and took it to an unprecendented level both in the level and visibility of his attacks.

In this, he has encouraged people who least needed more encouragement (the far right) and has incited people who least need further provocation (the radical left). All the while, increasing the ranks of both groups.

If that's not destructive, I'd love to hear your definition.

Nope, I’ve told her to leave it alone. The lady is on into her 70s and we have some strong ties with some of her family (small town) … ain’t gonna change nobody’s mind.

Just like my mother in the nursing home; the black ladies that work there are really good to her but something about Trump comes on the TV in the common area and they’re carrying on about how he’s about to go to prison. Pick and choose your battles.

He didn’t normalize it, it was already here.

What he did was point it out, which you can’t stand.

I know you don’t agree, but evil must be fought. Anyone willing to fight it is “far-right” to you and the media.

I’ll even make it easy for you

Unrestricted Abortion = killing unborn children for convenience. Thats evil

There’s no such thing as a trans person. Sex is binary, you have to be mentally ill, lying, joking or just plain stupid to say otherwise.

The sky is not falling, the climate always changes and there’s not a soul on this planet given the history of this planet’s climate that can say it’s “unprecedented” and have any ability to prove it.

Pick a side. Truth or lies, good or evil.

Yeah, just imagine if he would've torn up a State of the Union speech live on national television like a mad 8 year old child.

That would've been crazy. Wish Trump wasn't the only one acting juvenile. Save the democracy, man!!!!

The fact that you just went off on me assuming that you know everything about what I believe is exhibit A.

Of course. It's also illegal.

Absolutely.

I'm with Jesus. I do care much for national politics.

I am gladly an idiot.

It sounds as if you're a little to close to politics, which were never intended to be ultimate.

See how I did that? It sounds as if...
I didn't just go out there and tell you what you believe like you did to me.

Why? Because I refused to learn from Trump, thus refusing to become more radical, always remembering that people are complex, and allowing them room to explain themselves. In short, I try to live by the principal of extending charity.

“Trump has done more to divide this country and undermine democratic norms than any politician in our history. Plus his administration ran up historic debt, without any lasting domestic achievement.”

Thanks for providing the best possible scenario of the OP’s meaning of total ignorance of left’s thoughts
