The GOP and House didn't want it fixed in Trump's first term either. None of the establishment want it fixed. SS depends on a constantly growing population. Our birthrates won't allow the ponzi scheme to continue. That's why neither party wants it fixed.

This is dumb. How does not wanting a compromised speaker mean you don't understand politics?

It's also funny that the people who post this also attack Trump for listening to the lead scientists during covid. Ignoring all their advice would have been a stupid political decision, but Trump is attacked for it by the same people excusing this bill as just politics. The hypocrisy is never-ending.

It’s always a reason to not do what they run on. They care more about winning then actually doing conservative things
