Why does a guy in texas have a concealed carry permit
To not have to take a background check, and possibly have to wait on a delay.
Some states (I think there's 9?) let people use their CCW for it, since those states require a federal background check to get the CCW. Just go in, run the CCW, and be in and out.
Having a CCW can also look better for you in court (emphasis "can") if a DA decides to go rogue on a defender. As the license implies training and knowing self defense laws.
And some states provide extra bennies of having the license over just constitutional carry.
Like here in MO... Carrying a fixed blade knife is kinda dubious. With a CCW, it's covered.

How many Americans are chomping at the bit to obtain a suppressor?
Like many of my European brothers, I feel that shooting a rifle or pistol without a suppressor is quite rude.
So yes, I do not wish to be rude and will obtain one for the rifles that I have that are not already suppressed.
Why?

I called a few LGS this morning to see if they would sell without form 4 and they all told me they were waiting on the ATF to put out a statement on how to comply. Seems like a crock of shite but they don’t want the ATF to send a swat team to blow up their place with flash bangs and shoot their dogs and euij their livelihood.

Most will wait and see. What we need is enough buyers and sellers to force the issue and make the government make a call. There will be a couple FFLs in all free states that choose to be the tip of the spear and I thank them for their service. I'd like to be one of the buyers if I can.

Ewwwwww, Tampon Tim.
Heh, that's Minnesota. MN. I'm in Missouri. MO. Easy mistake
The thing about a fixed blade here in MO is the concealed carry that hasn't been updated when the law banning fixed blade carry was repealed.
And for the most part it comes down to officer interpretation. If an officer wants to be a dick, they can get us for one being partially covered or not being seen by a shirt.
Most of them I dealt with just kept a watchful eye on my hands after seeing it. But the CCW makes it a non-isssue

Anyone have success today in Louisiana and walk out with a silencer without a form 4? There’s quite a few “powered by silencer shop” kiosks in Louisiana.
