And Mitch McConnell belongs in a home, not the Senate

You mean to tell me that you don’t think rural people have IDs??

Passports or original birth certificates? Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. Folks living in rural areas are significantly less likely to have passports and access to certified birth records.

Dear OP,

As a former Democrat voter, I've known "Republicans" haven't worked "for you" since 1988.

At worst this is a 70/30 issue across the political spectrum.. Should be a slam dunk. The fact that ANY POLITICIAN won't support it tells you all you need to know.

They are scum and need to no longer represent us.

What is says is that the Republicans leadership figured out that the largest number of people in America who do not possess passports or the means to get the kind of ID required under the SAVE Act are rural people, aka, republicans.

I suspect all the available Ex Lax in the entire Western Hemisphere wouldn’t cure the full of shites that produces such a response.

If true then you force Democrats to go on record as against Voter ID. It is really simple. In fact - make it a speaking filibuster and force them to stop SEnate business for days/weeks/months. Force clarity as to where people stand.

This is how a functional representative democracy should work. Not just drop it because it won't pass.

It is a bigger shame that not one Dem will support this even though their constituency support it by over 70%.

Even sadder that minorities will be silent while politicians explain how stupid and ignorant they are in regard to getting an ID (that they already have) and will still support these people.

Bill Cassidy played conservatives for idiots and he will be out of a job. Dems play their people for idiots and they march right back and pull the lever for them.

Thune and Turtle, along with Turtle's Chief of Staff, need to be strung up in public. Absolute traitorous pieces of shite.

Trump honestly has nothing to lose here as he's a lame duck.

The GOP however, they have tons to lose.

Those of us in our country that want legitimate elections have tons to lose too.

hey need to get Thune out a of leadership position. He has failed to lead the Republican Party

This is exactly WHY he was chosen Senate Majority Leader. To do exactly what he's doing on the SAVE Act. Obstructing.

The vast majority on both sides have not worked for the people for the last 50+ years. They are all basically the same uniparty hacks.

Typical left wing urban mindset. Why would anyone living in bugtussle have any less access to their personal information than someone in Seattle? Clearly bigoted opinion.

Actually 49 of them worked for us.

Only 4 of them didn’t work for us.

By contrast, all 47 Democrats didn’t work for you.

Keep that in mind. A lot of people can’t seem to see the big picture here.

“Go on record”? It’s not that Republican leadership wouldn’t love that but they are afraid to put their own members on record so they hide behind the filibuster

No, everything bad is Obama/Bidens fault.

Everything good, DJT's Deals.

If Republicans are stopping anything by votes, it must be a bad.

I’ll bite do you know how easy it is to obtain a certified copy of your birth certificate. It’s literally a couple of clicks and boom it’s mailed to you. I literally just added a link below.
