They took over an entire religious sect.

Impressive but sad.

Did the same to the Boy Scouts.

Everything good must go.

Theres a thread about 20 pages deep by our bible/fundamentalists friends criticizing the RCC for apparently worshipping Mary …who knew being Protestant could be so open to interpretation

Liberator be over here shortly to tell us why he and pastor Bob interrupt the Bible correctly but us Catholics got it all wrong …lol

Some bishops and priests are already doing as they please.

That’s how it always starts.

The Catholic Church will fall.

Core to our Beliefs: Book of Common Prayer “It is a most invaluable part of that blessed ‘liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free,’ that in his worship different forms and usages may without offense be allowed, provided the substance of the Faith be kept entire” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 9). The Book of Common Prayer is a treasure chest full of devotional and teaching resources for individuals and congregations, but it is also the primary symbol of our unity.

I grew up Episcopalian and this is hogwash. The BCP is the guideline for how to officiate services and how to conduct personal devotionals. It’s not a replacement for the Bible. It was never presented in Bible study courses or VBC as any kind of authority.

The ECUSA has already lost congregations to the American Anglican Church. It sued other congregations who wanted to leave by stating that the property belong to the ECUSA and forced them to stay. The Diocese of Dallas has churches reporting to two different bishops. A major split is coming.

That’s the same path the UMC is going.

Churches buying their way out to get away from queer ideology.

Mainline Protestant church’s will be dead over next 100 years or so.

Only church’s remaining will be Catholic

Are Catholics really going to throw stones with all that's going on with the socialist Pope and all the other vast array of issues going on within?

Protestants sticking to the right way, will be picking up the pieces and get just as strong.

I would agree with you on the Orthodox Church, but Catholic definitely has way to much clean up internally to have so much confidence. Should hold off until a new Pope is chosen to see if things will or won't change.

It’s a church that was founded cause a dude wanted to divorce his wife. Does anyone really think there is truth there?

Why would anyone stay in a “church” like that?

You are right. Just look at what they value.

The only thing in common we have is our total depravity and sinful nature. They are worshiping themselves under the guise of being Christ followers. They are heaping judgement on themselves

The church of my childhood and young adulthood has left me so far behind that it sickens me to wonder what happened to my Reverends.
Several years ago I searched for them and all are deceased, even those only a few years older than I. I would have listened to their guidance or at least to the reasoning they had adopted.

Ironical, there have been millions of people over many millennia trying to destroy Christianity. It took Democrats just a few decades.
