You're equating narket value with food quality. Not the same. Popeyes and Canes are both better than CFA when it comes to that.
CFA was built on Christian work ethic paradigm. That has changed. They used to play Christian music with lyrics. It didn't hurt nor hinder their business. But someone complained and CFA acquiesced. For a season they played music with no lyrics. Now, that's been removed.
CFA is lurching toward woke.

If you own a fryer it is not hard to make chicken fingers, and Canes/ Guthries sauce is basically 2-1 Mayo to ketchup with garlic powder, wposcheter and a shitload of black pepper.
