Also worth a look is the Podcast featuring he and Jordan Peterson. Much discussion on "Tribalism". LINK
More light needs to shed on the DEI issue. It's more serious than we make it out to be, IMHO. Don't assume your friends, neighbors, and children already know.
DEI for LIFE: "Does DEI mean lifetime tenure on the rationale that once standards are no longer purely meritocratic in hiring, they must similarly remain nonmeritocratic for lifelong tenure?"
"In the end, DEI will implode because of its many contradictions: it is racist to the core; it is illegal and violates court decisions and the Constitution; it destroys meritocracy; and it is utterly incoherent in adjudicating who and who not deserve racial preferences."
I hope he's right... I never in a million years thought this to be possible.

What I’m hoping is that it implodes without taking the country with it.
Considering who got placed into various protected positions (civil service, military, etc), there may be some holdouts who will still cause problems and there will be institutional damage just because fricking incompetents were kept around too long.

This already has happened with the government, so in those terms, it is too late but DEI wasn't the cause of it...

It’s implosion is inevitable, it’s just a matter of what is brings down with it. A few corporations or an entire empire

DEI is worse than affirmative action; affirmative action accepts that there's such a thing as merit and merit-based standards and makes an exception to remedy past harms.
DEI denies that merit is objective and accuses all merit-based standards of being racist. It's cancer.
Also, like cancer, do not count DEI out or expect it to "implode" without killing the institutions it has infected. Cancers stop growing too, but lots of time it's when the patient dies.

Well, our company publishes a DEI report card annually - it includes new hires, promotions, management jobs etc
