A hammer that doesn't appear anywhere in the police documentation. And one hammer isn't worth all this trouble, honestly. What about all the other supposed goods, like the $2500 worth of fishing equipment? Again, the footage doesn't show any theft, just trespassing.
The footage I saw was on a public street, what trespassing?

We have no evidence that TM himself felt threaten and he was himself acting in self defense
he elevated the situation by circling back on GZ and attacking GZ when GZ had not been aggressive. nothing GZ did was illegal prior to Trayvon attacking
just like in this scenario, had the shooters either not lied in wait or engaged with the deceased, it's highly unlikely they'd be charged (and the deceased certainly would be alive). the issue is initiation of aggression (like lying in wait, confronting the "suspect", and using firearms).

the 911 call didn't even articulate enough facts to establish this guy is the one who did it
So what knowledge did the mcmichaels have of the deceased trespassing on that construction site.
Hopefully we’ll find out.

What evidence do you have that he turned around?
I have read it from several sources. I believe it is in the original police report of what the McMichaels told the responding officers.
Edit: Here you go:
quote:
The following is also from the police report: McMichael then “ran inside his house and called to” Travis McMichael, his son. He said, “Travis, the guy is running down the street, let’s go.” The father told police he went to his bedroom and grabbed his .357 Magnum handgun and Travis McMichael grabbed his shotgun. The older McMichael told police he believed he had seen Arbery “the other night” and that he had “stuck his hand down his pants” which led them to believe Arbery was armed.
The father and son then got into a truck, followed Arbery, and “attempted to cut [him] off,” according to the police report. In response, Arbery “turned around and began running back in the direction from which he came.” A third man attempted to “block” Arbery in with his vehicle but was “unsuccessful,” according to the police report.
Gregory McMichael told police he then jumped into the bed of the other truck and that they continued to follow Arbery. McMichael told police they shouted, “Stop, stop. We want to talk to you.” They then pulled up beside Arbery and a struggle between Travis McMichael and Arbery ensued.
The confrontation ended with Arbery being shot at least three times and dying on the street where he had just been jogging, according to the police report.

Seems more likely to me that with the reports of him robbing in high school and in the neighborhood that he wasn't an innocent jogger.
You understand there is actual corroboration that he was a jogger? He jogged on the road that turned into Satilla Drive regularly enough that residents recognized him.

Someone had video on their property capture someone who looks like Ahmaud walking through the property. The owner said it was “trespassing.” There’s no indication he stole anything.

Surveillance footage the neighbor, who owns a house under construction, apparently has, which shows Arbery there. But he admits nothing was stolen.

that's going to be VERY important for their defense
now that a real investigating agency is handling the case, we may not see as coordinated/united of a front

The best I can tell is that there is security cam footage of someone going through the house under construction on a day previous to this day, and then this day they saw Arbery running (or jogging) through the neighborhood and said that's the guy and started their pursuit

This is as real as the hammer.
"When he was in high school, Arbery was sentenced to five years probation as a first offender on charges of carrying a weapon on campus and several counts of obstructing a law enforcement officer. He was convicted of probation violation in 2018 after he was charged with shoplifting, court documents show."

That we know of at this point. This comes back to how awfully handled this case has been

yeah but i have to imagine if there was any scintilla of evidence, that would be a major part of the PR spin by the former prosecutor

He wasn’t in high school when he was convicted of shoplifting.

I live on a corner lot, my ring goes off regularly with people cutting through my property, I have yet to chase after and kill anyone

"In his letter of recusal to Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr, Waycross Judicial Circuit District Attorney Roger Barnhill wrote that his son, a prosecutor in the Brunswick DA’s office, and McMichael, then an investigator in that same office, “both helped with the previous prosecution of (Ahmaud) Arbery.”
McMichael, a former Glynn County cop, told Glynn police he recognized Arbery, 25, from surveillance video that captured a recent burglary in his mostly white neighbourhood. He said he planned to make a citizen’s arrest."

Not relevant though.

If that happened, he is going to have a much stronger defense. (It didn’t.)

Maybe. Idk. Hopefully the gbi can get to the bottom of what actually happened and why. Just a shame this has been narrativized by the media/blm etc. because in the end the narrative is really all that matters.
