Very plausible. A few years ago I thought the world could never be that dumb. I was wrong.

After the rapture the world will be chaotic and will look to the UN which will appoint a leader who will be the antichrist. The Catholic Church will have a role in this and the Pope will likely be the false prophet.

It says in the book of Romans, that in the end times, God would send a supernatural delusion on people so that they believe lies. I think the illogical stupor that people are currently under is spiritual.

Damn we need a religion board on this website though it would probably turn into a shite show pretty quickly. Always love threads like this and it’d be nice to have a place to go more in depth.

I too think the Pope will be the false prophet spoken of in Revelation.

Are Catholic rants less enjoyable?

I could easily be wrong... I do not know the future. Those that believe in God will probably want me stoned (exaggeration) for what I am about to type.

I do not 100% believe that every book of the bible is a work of God and Not of Satan. Specifically revelations. I hold out the hope that revelations was written by evil projecting what they want to happen.

Regardless. Do what is right and just. You don't need to know the future to know what is the right thing to do today.

Wouldn’t an all powerful and all knowing God who created all things from nothing have the power to preserve his word?

Man is fully capable of transforming the word into whatever he wants it to be through "translation". We already have plenty of translations that completely change the tone/context of scripture. I think where God comes in is in granting the spirit of discernment to know what the message of his word is and isn't. I think that's why there's such a massive difference in denominations. Some seek God while others seek piety.

sure there has always been "global business" - but "globalism" in the form of a one world government is closer to reality today that ever before; well, since antediluvian times anyway...

Jesus said that the end times would be much like the times of Noah and Lott

what was prevalent during the times of both of these men? extreme sexual perversion & the acceptance of homosexuality as "normal"

the push to redistribute wealth, destroy borders and accept global governance falls in line with the type of one world government foretold in Biblical predictions

Man can come up with a million translations, but a simple bible concordance will provide the reader with the original Greek or Hebrew word used in each passage.
Now I will admit, some translations are horrible an omit entire sentences, and some like the Living Bible aren’t translations at all, but instead, interpretations that don’t follow any biblical translation principles.

Good deal Bass, we can never read enough of God’s word.
I’ve read the entire Bible a few times, but I’ve read the entire New Testament too many times to count, but certainly over 50.

I doubt your everyday, run-of-the-mill Christian has one on hand. I'm not saying there aren't options available to get the real deal, I'm just saying man has had the power to change what the word contains for a while.

When the Dead Sea scrolls were found in the 40’s, there were many parts of the Bible in it, some contained full books of the Bible. And except for grammatical and spelling errors, it was identical to the Bible they had at the time and the one we still have access to today.
