Well is all the cops were OUTSIDE then why was he barricaded in one classroom? Why wasn't he going class to class?

A lot of cop bashers in here thinking they are tough. It is protocol for any mass shooting scenario. Non cops don't think of all the possible scenarios.
The protocols have been proven to be shite numerous times. The first local cop on scene should have rushed in even if he had zero information. IDGAF if he might killed.

Right. The protocols are for them to be cowards

Exactly, the school. Not the cops in the statement you agreed with. Likely happened to fast for the lock down call to be successful.
I happened to be at an elementary school in Livingston Parish when it went into lockdown. Police in this small city were chasing a criminal. As soon as he turned toward/got near the school the police notified administration. Doors were already kept locked but there were additional measures about windows, lights, student placement, etc. that went into effect immediately. The students were barricaded behind tables and in closets.
When they chased him near the school they 100% should have notified administration to go into lockdown procedures immediately.

I'm not taking sides and I'm not reading this entire thread. But these officers have families to go home to and aren't interested in rushing anywhere to get shot.

From the article linked by TigerLicks - "the creators of the game, Behaviour Interactive"
Dead by Dawn is the game.
Not saying the Game caused the nutter to go off, but kind of a weird name for a company being used by millions of impressionable kids.

Powerman, I haven’t offered up any advice or solutions to this situation because I don’t know one.
I’m not in law enforcement and I’m not in charge of establishing, securing, and/or neutralizing the scene of an active shooting…. And like i said, that’s perfectly fine. But I’m not gonna sit here and say some of the ignorant shite that most people have no problem spewing out without any sort of training or experience.

Were the cops chasing him? I don't think they were.

It’s honestly insane the way people are reacting to this
and it's more honestly insane how the police did not react to this. This is a definitive case of where inaction created a reaction. Funny how that happens when kids are being shot huh?

Crowd control? Figuring out what the frick is actually going on? Finding the shooter? Evacuating the kids?
Seeing it broken out like this I realize they failed on all counts

Then they can frick right off and resign. And never once again he considered heroes.

There’s a shite ton of things happening at once man… an outsider doesn’t need to come and add to the list of shite that needs to be taken care of
Why can’t people comprehend this?
"Angeli Rose Gomez, a farm supervisor working nearby who has children in second and third grade at Robb, told the Journal that she drove 40 miles to the school when she heard about the shooting, only to see an apparent lack of response from law enforcement as the gunman barricaded himself in a classroom."
A farm worker heard about what was going on, drove from 40 MILES AWAY to the school, got put in handcuffs for arguing with the police to do something, talks her way out of cuffs, then slips the stellar safety perimeter the police have supposedly set up, hops a fence and gets into a supposedly LOCKED DOWN school, finds her two kids in DIFFERENT CLASSROOMS, and gets back out of the school. All while the police are standing outside waiting for further instruction.
If this woman isn't lying and/or the media hasn't embellished this story, what in the actual frick was going on at that school?!
Also, that woman needs to quit her farm job and take over Uvalde SWAT.

You don't need a PhD in criminal justice or anything special to know that eliminating the threat should be a top priority. Yet you dismiss that as an absurdity. One might question why

Parents wanted to see if their kids were okay and after the police decided it wasn't pertinent to go in and see if there were any wounded still alive they made the decision not to let the parents in either. Just how gut wrenching do you think that is for a parent?
No offense bud but they weren’t just standing around shooting the shite while he was killing kids. Several of the cops also had kids in the school. As did CBP agents on scene. There are many different stories out ranging from one end of the spectrum to the other. That’s on purpose.

Didn’t know a police’s job was to be a meat shield?

How fast would you be driving in that situation? It would probably be limited only by your vehicle
