You are partially right. People are excited because Biden was dead in the water and Harris now gives them some amount of hope because literally anyone was a better option than Biden. It is like when your favorite team hires a new coach and everything they do and say comes off as pure wisdom. Then the reality sets in and you find out you actually hired Bryan Harsin or Chad Morris.
It has only been one week since she was anointed as the new candidate. The DNC has not even had their convention and there have been no debates. Harris is still the same person that nobody wanted in 2020 and that will shine through before November can get here.
Right now the Democrat's only hope is to somehow hide her from the people like they did with Biden in 2020. But you don't have covid to use as a shield this time around.

Republicans are held to a double standard sure it sucks but it is what it is.
With that in mind it’s a dumb miscalculation to have the bottom of the ticket have such low hanging fruit.

I agree with this. Which is why it is stupid of the democratic party to attack Trump supporters. That's the difference between the Dem party and Trump. Trump doesn't attack the voters, he attacks the people they're voting for. Trump wants the Biden/Harris voter. The democrats want the Trump voter........ eliminated.

You have to just ignore the noise and garbage. The media will find anything to make stick, so any one issue is irrelevant. No one is going to have 0 previous interviews or anything.

No matter which VP was chosen, they would have faced ton of scrutiny. He was talking about Pelosi, Kamala, Pete etc. not the actual voters
