Why is this such a hot topic? Has to be the dumbest gotcha shite in political history.

Many of us may agree, but it was a dumb thing to say publicly. In doing so, he handed the "feminists" (that's in quotes because I think they do more harm to women than good) a talking point and rally cry.
Unironically, all of my single, miserable, cat-lady friends are losing their minds on Facebook over this statement. These women want me to believe JD is an idiot, but just last week posted that AI modified photo that shows them 100 lbs lighter, 30 years younger, and wearing 19th century clothing like that fat chick from Bridgerton.

And while he won in red Ohio, he was 10 points behind DeWine in the same election.

The only women the cat lady statement matters too were probably going to vote for Kamala anyway.
They are in trouble if they think these miserable single older women are what will win the election for them. The DEMs need the married women, the suburban soccer moms, and I doubt his cat lady statements are going to anger any of them to the point of voting for a different person. He is pro family and pro children...

Since they love pulling up 3-year-old stuff that Vance said, let's dust off some of the Court Jesters' quotes about defunding the police, cashless bail, open borders, free health care for everyone including illegals, second amendment rights, equity. They can't whitewash this clown's past. She is what she is, a left-wing loon, who failed upward her entire career, given opportunity after opportunity just because she checks some boxes. There isn't a candidate, alive or dead, that wouldn't have some comment in their past that roiled the leftist, bat-shite crazy, feminists within the Dem party. And even if there were, they aren't voting for a GOP candidate under any circumstance.
This is just noise and changes nothing.
The recent narrative that Vance is a "bad choice" is a combination of pundits parroting their DNC talking points and pearl-clutching, gutless Republicans shitting the bed in usual form.
The Dems don't technically have a candidate at this point, let alone a VP selection. Once Trump disposed of Biden, the game was paused until the Dems officially decide on the back-up QB.
