So, there's absolutely no correlation between Islam and the perpetual violence that we see in the Middle East?
As usual, cwill, you are shown to be an agenda-driven idiot.

You're right. He did lie about that.

Well, technically speaking they aren't innocent. They were to be put to death because they committed the act of adultery.

What Christian theology takes the Bible literally? Can you name one?

I'm not sure this can be quantified, sorry.

Ok sorry. Here's a better one:

So you have zero understanding whatsoever of modern Christianity versus modern Islam? You think they are both just books taken literally. Good Lord.

Maybe we should. After all, it is the Word of God.

Isn't that one major difference between different denominations of Christianity. Honestly, I never understand why they don't take the Bible and the Koran literally. If you only follow certain parts of a religion, isn't that just cherry picking the parts you like of a religion and not actually following it.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong. The fact of the matter is Christianity has been adapted to fit our modern times. Anyone taking the Old Testament literally will not be welcome in Western society. There is no place in the West where Christians are stoning adulterers, for example. On the other hand, this type of literal, ancient desert tribal nomadic behavior IS still prevalent in the Muslim world. A large majority of them do still stone adulterers and the like.

Correct. Christianity had its reformation
Islam is still stuck in 800 A.D.
