The problem is that the GOP doesn’t offer an attractive alternative. The GOP panders just like Dems. The GOP is just weak sauce free market conservatism..more talk than action.

There is dignity, self-respect, and real substantive joy in self reliance. The GOP shouldn’t be guaranteeing average, ok, just getting by outcomes like Dems, they should be promoting opportunity for greatness. Not an rescue team out of poverty, but a rope to pull yourself out and a big arse utility knife to cut off all the burdens of big government.

Give me a break. Northern conservatives AND progressives teamed up to provide civil rights for black people.

So you are over-generalizing the term, to insinuate a specific movement?

Come on, that's laughable

But. . .I mean terribly dishonest

Person 1: Republicans made progress to defunding Planned Parenthood

So he realized that police dont have it out for black people, AFTER he became a cop? So he was training to be a police officer and decided to be a police officer before he knew that wasn't the case? This sounds like a bunch of made-up bull shite.

What he doesn't realize is that things have improved dramatically for people as young as him due to the fact that so many Progressive people fought hard.

After all that man said this is the best you could come up with? Quite simply, you are the problem and that man is the solution.

His fellow "progressive" saw the man's color and called him a "token"

token is the definition of racist code

It sure does piss them off when someone breaks the chains and leaves their party. Maybe they are envious because they themselves can't survive in this world without their victim privilege.

I would say that is conservative. The idea that a woman has a choice over her own body and which direction to take a pregnancy is a progressive and modern thought.

Fighting for a person's civil rights, especially years ago, was an obvious prigressive movement and/or thought process.

Being fluid and being able to apply common sense in any given applicable situation isnt a bad thing, ya know.

And the idea that the father is devoid from the equation is a progressive thought, too. Who needs 2 parents when you can rely on the government and the hard work of others?

Cutting off your dick is a progressive and modern thought. Injecting kids with hormones to prevent puberty is a progressive and modern thought. Thinking your are a different race than you are is progressive and modern, too. Just because an idea is "progressive" and "modern" doesn't mean it isn't stupid and harmful.

Those people didn't leave the democrat party. The democrat party left them.

So what happened?

Your party currently supports denying the civil rights of millions of gun owners. Your party defended the Obama administration's IRS targeting political opponents. Your party has no issue with abusing the 4th amendment to spy on an opposition campaign.

Quit pretending the 2018 democrat party is the same as 1965's.
