Something i would love to do one day is buy a batch of raw whiskey distillate (basic mash bill, lighter on rye, and with a little more wheat), buy a used bourbon barrel, and age/bottle my own whisky
Maybe something like this... 75% Corn, 15% Rye, 6% Malted Barley, 4% Wheat, 135 Proof
I think that would be a fun project

you can buy them, had a buddy do this about 10yrs ago. he is waiting 20yrs he says. at this point i think he got stoned and forgot it in the basement.
