It's not that it was a lie so much as it has been dismantled by greedy, power hungry politicians and "civil servants" who see themselves as our masters.

I’m a couple years older and agree. I think social media and Donald J Trump just exposed everything. I believe all these perverts, crooks, killers, etc in positions of power were always there. We just didn’t know bc it wasn’t on NBC, CBS, or ABC for consumption.

Right. I don’t believe our parents or local civic leaders were lying to us… I just think they were completely oblivious to the man behind the curtain…
That “man” has been exposed, imo. The dark hand pulling the strings… the exposure has made the establishment even more brazen than before.
