Many large districts have a limit below which contracts can be approved without board approval. St Louis public schools had a limit and the recently fired Supt. approved dozens of consulting contracts for her friends that were $1 less than the limit.

You probably wouldn't believe it, if I didn't post a link...still might not believe it... it's so absurd.
This woman, former mayor in Illinois... was crooked, spent 10's of thousands of dollars on trips ... and other items. She was labeled 'the worst Mayor in the U.S'.
Then she went dark... before appearing in an Atlanta 'burb saying she was now GOP and wants to run for office.
