That’s silly.
Even the craziest anti-2A loon wouldn’t try to incite violence at a convention filled with thousands of armed attendees.
All will be fine.

why don't the protesters go shut down all these street and motorcycle gangs, that do all this killing and selling dope.

The convention is in Dallas TX.. not Seattle Washington.. I doubt this will happen..
And since I live here.. I will have to go even though i'm not a member just for the entertainment value...

If their plan is to shut down the convention, using the democrat playbook from college campuses and the Trump campaign, you may actually be right.

Doubtful. NRA types have a bent for confrontation.

Naw, I hear its cause the US sanctions have hit russia so attendees can't get in and they can't get funding.

This is hilarious. Life or death. I hope that the DPD has water cannons.

Yeah, I definitely said that. What's insane is the amount of time you walking logical fallacies spend arguing against your own points. I support the 2nd Amendment, I'm just not a member of an organization that operates like a cult.
Some things should be obvious but you're too busy being offended to notice: The NRA's veneration of guns is indistinguishable from any cult's veneration of a person or object. Even its middlingly ardent members often display cult-like behavior and obsessions.
The NRA's spokeswoman, with her giant Ephesians 6:12-13 verse tattooed across her arm, speaks in apocalyptic, paranoid tones, and NRA members fricking love it. They revel in rhetoric painting every liberal as a monster out to destroy America and American Christian values (whatever the frick that means) and take everyone's guns. Cult-like behavior from people that are preparing for the 2nd coming of something that ain't coming.

Sounds like you are describing #resist or blm or any other leftist group.

With all due respect. You have issues. Help is available.

I don't know, I think the NRA venerates the Constitution, and particularly the 2A. I don't think they are especially good at it, considering that they are at least partially responsible for many of the gun laws we now have.
A gun as a tool should be venerated, as it has no equal. It makes a 90 pound girl a match for a 225 pound man. It makes an 87 year old man a match for a 19 year old thug. It protects the things you hold dear like no other tool. It's the reason you have the ability and freedom to come here and espouse unpopular opinions. It won your ancestors the right to be here. It's the reason you aren't a subject, but a citizen. It's the reason you are an American, rather than a Mexican, or Spainard, or French, or German.
Name one other tool that has done as much for you.

The anti-gunners are welcome to peacefully share their views.
And the conventioners are within their rights to peacefully assemble.
As long a the protestors respect the NRA's right to peacefully assemble, then there should be no problem.
That, of course, works the other way, too.
