I don't know why people are downvoting my accurate description of what is actually going on,,, do none of you care about the truth and understanding your rights and the government's limits on its power?

unless those of you arent actually interested in what is really is going on and you just like being part of the mob incited by Caesar's bread and circuses

Doesn't Eagleman know there are 38 congressional districts in Texas, not just 21. What happened to the other 17?

Texas Republicans are dumber than I suspected -- they're deficient in understanding gradeschool level arithmetic. No wonder they can't put together a quorum!

Too bad they couldn't relocate the capitol and redistrict Travis Co. and Austin out of Texas. And that would include ut. Of course pretty much all of the higher institutions in TX, including A&M are now woke as hell. But texas univerisity has been a lib lib bastion for decades. That crap you posted represents all of TX? LOL.

They'll hit us in the Central Valley where we're red but they're battleground districts. They'll merge red districts in the Sierras together thereby eliminating a seat. They could also expand some of the coastal districts further inland and swing them that way. That would be a possibility with the few seats we have in SoCal too.

It's not a good scenario. If you pull up a map we only have the following districts: 1, 3, 5, 20, 22, 23, 40, 41 & 48.

District 1 is a huge area but I won't put anything past the dems out here. So they could marge it with Districts 2 (Northern Bay Area and all of the NorCal coast), D4 which is Napa and other rural areas & D6 which is Sacramento's suburbs. It's a massive area but the population isn't big. So it may not take much to swing it and the dems will have margin in the districts I mentioned for each to give up a little, retain those districts and swing D2.

District 3 is safe unless they merge it with 1, 3 & 5. Which eliminates a seat.

District 5 has a problem if they merge it with D7, 9 & 13.

20 is probably safe without them pulling some absolutely crazy stuff. I won't rule it out but it'll be a stretch.

22 is already a swing district and borders coastal blue districts. So that's an easy target.

23 is red but isn't heavily populated and borders some heavy blue areas with a larger population. Just swing the district borders a little south and east and it's probably in play.

Same goes for the rest of the districts in SoCal, even Orange County can be in play with a shift of the district boundary here or there.

Sacramento is absolutely ruthless.

The vote was 19-2, and it affects the US house seats.

they voted on the proposed redistricting, but the vote doesn't count because the House will not vote on the same piece of legislation since they dont have quorum

Though there are some good conservatives from the University of Texas, there are a lot more libtards. A lot more than either A&M or Texas Tech. Its always been this way.

Wow, I'd recommend you leave that hell hole before they jail you for owning a business or gun or for ever having voted Red.
