Serious question…

The big cities would need what to make the entire state blue? Another 250K votes?

Trump won Texas by about 1.6 million votes.. so 250k would just be a drop in the bucket.. assuming the republicans can figure out a way to keep the Hispanic vote that they got this time.

I thought most Indians in America vote democrat traditionally?

Indians have loved Trump since his 1st campaign in 2016. They were huge supporters.

The sneaky Dems probably tried to influence all the Rio Grande counties.

The Rio Grande Valley which is almost entirely Hispanic has been the region in the country that has shifted most rapidly to the right, the last 4 years.

Shocker, Hispanics who work their asses off, and went through the blood sweat and tears to get the right to vote, don’t want people being able to skip the line and dilute the workforce.

The Valley going for Trump in such a big way is a generational shift for the better.

And one more thing. F*CK Collin Allred.

Hillary won Starr County 79% to 19%.
It has the highest proportion of Hispanic population in the U.S.-- 97.7%.

There are more Ukrainians living in the Kremlin than there are whites and blacks living in Starr County Texas.

The writing was on the wall yesterday. At 5:30, one of, if not the largest voting center in Harris County did not have one single person in line.

in 2022, the lines waits were up to 1 to 1.5 hours there at 5:30 on election day.

I believe the key to Texas going forward will be securing the Hispanic vote while keeping the Rural White vote..

build the wall, keep the illegals out, lower taxes for the middle class, fix inflation and watch the economy thrive.. when he starts drilling, the Texas economy will skyrocket..

I had a different opinion last week. I have been concerned for months that Texas was going to be the target because of the illegals.. turns out, that backfired on them, and now I don't see Texas turning blue anytime soon.

i agree with all of this.... vouchers hurt all of this... its an elitist policy... teachers should be middle class...they arent in Texas

Can you imagine what they'd do if they had control of the whole country's purse strings?

I live in Prosper. When we were trick or treating with the kiddos, there was a sea of Trump signs and American flags. Funniest
costume that night was a 12/13 year old kid dressed as Trump with an ear bandage and another kid dressed as a secret service agent wearing sunglasses and carrying a blind person cane.

Border counties suffer the brunt of illegal immigration. The stories from those communities that don’t make the news are fricking wild.

I love all those people who don’t live here telling us that Texas is on the brink of turning blue. Even our Mexicans own homes, drive new cars on our beautifully paved roads and vote red.

Do you get out and talked to to people? You stated you are surprised, because it is diverse, explain the diversity angle and why it should go blue?

Trump received more votes physical and percentage wise in 2024, than 2020.

Great breakdown of how Texas is MORE red today than ever before. Huge gains across the entire state.
