I understand that. As I said, join a group that advocates for your conservative principles.
Why? Their members are probably mostly made up of gay republicans so they wanted a group that would advocate for gay people but that was still consisting of Republicans.
There aren't any rights I'm complaining about that I don't have so lets not even get into that debate right now

Texas GOP rejects Log Cabin Republicans

I'm not intolerant of anyone. What fricking rights do I have that they don't ? Why do they insist on being separate and special from everyone else?

 I'm glad I'm no longer a Republican. Way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory there, fellas!

How did unisex bathrooms become the determining factor?
I don’t recall anyone saying that it was. I mentioned the bathroom issue as being irrelevant.
You responded in effect that those who use the bathrooms would find it relevant.
I then replied that I have never seen a bathroom policy for transgenders (which just involves making both bathrooms unisex) that did not result in either single use bathrooms or floor to ceiling stalls. Thereby making the issue totally irrelevant because no one is sharing facilities.

So then what's to advocate for?
Posted on 2/5/20 at 6:21 pm to Jake88
For one I know they usually try to actively support gay members of the GOP who run for office.

I have no idea. Also not sure why you asked that question.

I’m not sure. But that doesn’t matter either. Not including them on that basis is, again, yet another example of the GOP lacking any political foresight whatsoever.
It’s politics, stupid. Being able to say you are a big tent party is more important than actually being one.

So where do the Log Cabiners stand on all the trans lunacy? Are the issues that make them Republican purely economic?
I don't know, it's probably varied.
Unless you think that gays are immune to manipulation by agenda driven forces, maybe many gays actually don't support each and every incarnation of "transgendered" opinions and demands? Like the democrats and the recent vote, they dare not indicate any level of contrary view so they move in lockstep.

Politics? Yes
Stupid? No. I'm smart enough to see this for what it is.

Come on! Gay rights is a dead issue, you idiots.
Move on. We need all the support we can get.
All this does is give the Dems ammunition.

Probably gay marriage
Possibly. I,for some reason, suspect it has more to do the the demands of the "transgendered" agenda

How about transgendered "rights"?

Hell yeah. We gotta have that less than 3% of the population

Why does their sexual orientation matter?

What is that? Some brave stance by a group of prosperity gospel ideologues?

I agree. It's a stupid decision on the part of the state GOP

Both of my parents left the Catholic Church after being Catholic their entire lives because of me. The reach is bigger than just gay people.

That makes 3 less gay people out of how many millions of Catholics? Did that change catholic tradition?
