Texas is changing but luckily their legislature is still rock solid conservative and patriotic.

Republicans in this state clearly want to attempt to shrink the electorate with these bills. They cannot handle more people regardless of race voting considering that Democrats were 5 seats away from getting the majority in the house in TX after this past election. If fewer young and elderly people are encouraged to vote, then that gives Republicans a better chance at winning future elections. Democrats are not the ones trying to gain a competitive advantage in the elections here ?

Democrats can't win so they import votes.

And they push the go out and vote every year. Vote or die! None of this stops people who want to vote.

Making it basically easy for anyone, even all of China, isn't going to make people vote that font have interest.

So the only people trying to cheat is the party that thinks you don't have to be a citizen to vote.

I believe the argument would be that urban/lower income areas don't have a porportional numbers of voting precincts, which in turn leads to longer lines as opposed to suburban areas

Why? Because the poor people have to pay for their own voting precincts?? Or because there aren't enough buildings/structures in which to house voting precincts, just too barren a landscape in these areas??

I don't get the insistence on justifying absolutely nonsensical propositions with something, anything. Some things are just stupid, and/or done with nafarious intentions, plain and simple.
