Ten years ago today, I signed the Affordable Care Act into law. It protected preexisting conditions, cut the uninsured rate in half, and lots more. But it's still under political attack right when we need care the most. We have to protect it, build on it, until we cover everyone.

And all the Democratic presidential candidates in 2020 were campaigning on how to fix the broken healthcare system.

I'm using my $2500 promised by Obama to buy toilet paper.

Just kidding. There was never a $2500 stipend.

It was a lie. The rebate, not the cost of toilet paper.

Serious business:

My Blue Cross premiums before Obama were $400/month for a family plan through our small business. At the end of Obama’s term, that same plan was going to cost us $2000/month. It forced my wife and I to make a decision: one of us was going to have to leave the business and get a corporate job that provided insurance.

Thanks Obama.

Pure wealth distribution. My Monthly BCBS premium $108 at the time. Now is $450 and they dont cover a thing. Co pay and co insurance you to death. Just went to get a stress test last month with cardiologist. Took 4 different visits. $35 co pay each time then I just got a $1000 bill yesterday. So Obama can shut his pie hole for wrecking 1/5 our economy.

Italy's problem isn't their healthcare system. Their problem is importing cheap Chinese labor for their fashion industry and politically correct politicians that didn't want to offend them at the onset of the viral outbreak.

The idea, in itself, was never the issue.

The problem was the implementation and how it was carried out.

It fricked over so many people.

Weird how he didn’t mention keeping your doctor, your plan or your premiums.

Can I get a link for that? I'm under the impression it stayed flat.

How do you cut rates in half if you are uninsured and paying no rates? I'm confused.

Rate in this case doesn’t refer to premiums.

Think statistically

Mine was in the $550 range and is now approaching $2000 and we've cut out our dental option and downgraded our overall plan.

This ACT was a national abortion. Not surprising it is still celebrated by the former President.

Got it. Since Obocare was all about the money I thought that was what he was referencing.

If only BO had chosen to re-stock our medical emergency supply.

The national shortage of N95 respirator masks can be traced back to 2009 after the H1N1 swine flu pandemic, when the Obama administration was advised to replenish a national stockpile but did not, according to reports from Bloomberg News and the Los Angeles Times.
