Watching how quickly he'd improved on the SEC Network, I'm starting to dread the inevitable, this is I realize possibly a stretch but how long until Tim Tebow is elected Governor of Florida?

I disagree with a lot of the evangelical agenda but the man has charisma and is beloved in the state, give it a decade and I just have this horrible vision of him winning in a landslide.

How do you know he has an "evangelical agenda?"

I'm not a Tebow fan. I'm not a sports journalist fan. But I saw him today for five minutes and I was impressed.

I love the fact he is a follower of Jesus Christ more. Maybe if elected governor he can show people "the way."

He's pretty great - super charismatic.

I think he's better off doing this instead of languishing on an NFL bench.

I think you'd be pretty surprised how different a true christian leads versus what we see in congress today. I'm cynical that most politicians have come to Christ for votes versus some true calling.

I'd say Jimmy Carter was the last one we've had.

That blows the whole idea out of the water doesn't it?

Wow, he must be doing one hell of a job on their football show if we're ready to make him governor.

How was what he said partisan? Both sides have people who profess to be Christian because it does get them votes.

Jimmy Carter is probably the most Godly president of the 20th century. I'm not a protestant but most of my family is, and he sounds like their preachers when he discusses his beliefs.

I'm sure his Family Studies degree will translate into being the Governor of Florida.

Drew Brees has a better chance at Governor of Louisiana than Tebow has at Governor of Florida.

Dead serious.

The times are changing, but I don't think Florida is ready for a gay governor.

Probably

That said, TT does have a good deal of charisma and I always respected him as person/player. Glad he was a Gator
