All those gifts, and he never varied from being a strict Constitutionalist. It's almost like they weren't intended to change his opinions.
Democrats hate him because he's black and actually thinks for himself.

White, black or whatever, the man is ethically compromised.

You have no credibility when it comes to your views on ethics.

Which code of ethics were violated, specifically? Is an amended statement evidence of anything in any court anywhere? Or are you being deceitful yet again in your description of a Supreme Court Justice in violation of rule 8.4?

Looks like the ODC is about to be dealing with a bunch of screen names, Bonds.

It’s is the soft bigotry of low expectations…aka - racism.

Knowingly being deceitful, counselor. You should know better. Don’t let politics cause you to commit ethical violations. It is why I called it ironic. Any reasonable person would know your “chart” is deceitful.

Mickey wouldn’t post this if it wasn’t under a screen name. He is usually somewhat reasonable. Thomas really bothers him, clearly. It’s strange. What could it be about him?

The relevant cases have not yet reached the Court, but his financial dealings have compromised him.

I never said he broke any rules. It is a fact he amended financial disclosures after investigations began that showed previously unmentioned trips paid for by Republican donor Harlan Crow.
The Model Code of Judicial Conduct does have guidance on the matter.
quote:
Rule 1.2: Promoting Confidence in the Judiciary
A judge shall act at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the independence,* integrity,* and impartiality* of the judiciary, and shall avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety.
